Adult Painting Session 3
Transience
Immersing in the oil paint medium, this class will focus on transitory elements in a landscape: light, weather, water, movement. Using color and value relationships, as well as loose brushwork, our aim will be to capture fleeting moments. We will explore some of the eastern philosophies and perspectives, such as Wabi Sabi, to inspire a more meditative approach to painting. The goal is for students to walk away with a glimpse of the ethereal within the framework of landscape art.
