10:00 AM- 3:00 PM
Those with some experience working on a potter’s wheel are invited to push the boundaries from function to sculpture. Play and experimentation is encouraged! Students will be shown several approaches and ideas for how to use the potter’s wheel as a tool for making sculptures. Demonstrations, examples, and discussions will support student learning along with guided practice. If you have never thrown on a potter’s wheel but had worked with clay this may be a challenge. However, signing up with a friend who has thrown, could make for a great team.
All work will be fired and ready for pick up in the Kimball Art Center lobby 7-14 days after your class. We do not ship class work.
