Ileana Doble Hernandez is an immigrant visual activist from Mexico, her socially conscious
practice expands to photography, video, installation and new media. An artist and an activist, Ileana believes that art has the power to make people care, she uses
her practice to promote harder gun reforms and the fair inclusion of immigrants within American
society.

Renato Olmedo-González is a proud queer immigrant who is passionate about the arts and
social change. Born and raised in Guadalajara, México, Renato came to the United States as an
undocumented immigrant when he was 15 years old. As Public Art Program Manager for SLC Arts Council, Renato is lead curator for public art projects located throughout Salt Lake City.
