Join the Kimball Art Center as we welcome a panel to talk about global climate change in conjunction with our exhibit Cold Places: Photographs by Sue Flood. Sue Flood’s photographs of the fragile polar ecosystems present an opportunity to discuss climate change and our stewardship of land, no matter how far. Hear from local experts about the current state of climate change and what effects we can expect to see in Utah as well as what we can do as individuals to reduce our carbon footprint.
Panelists:
Brian McInerney – National Weather Service Forecast Office
Andrea Brunelle – Professor & Chair of the Geography Department at the University of Utah
Hilary Arens – Sustainability Director at Snowbird Resort
Celia Peterson – Environmental Sustainability Project Manager for Park City
Jeff Bousson – Utah Clean Energy’s Climate Program Manager
Moderated by Lara Jones and Billy Palmer, hosts of RadioACTive on Salt Lake’s community radio station KRCL.
