Monster Drawing Rally is a live art-making event that allows spectators to spy on the creative process, build relationships with local artists, and grow their art collections. This year’s Monster Draw will take place June 6 from 6 to 9pm at Kimball Art Center, and includes live music, food, and a cash bar.
Here’s how it works: Over the course of the night, artists take shifts drawing creating artwork for 50 minutes. Finished pieces made from collage, watercolor, acrylic, graphite, and other media are immediately available for purchase for $50 each. Pieces with more than one hopeful buyer are sold in a “luck of the draw” style format.
Monster Draw is a partnership fundraising event for Park City Summit County Arts Council and Kimball Art Center, with proceeds benefiting both nonprofits.
