The Wasatch Back Student Art Show is Kimball Art Center’s annual celebration of our community’s youngest artists.
The show opening is open to the public and includes a family-focused art-making experience and refreshments.
MATERIAL CULTURE refers to the physical objects that people create and surround
themselves with. These objects can include items of clothing, tools, machines, ornaments,
buildings, monuments, written records, and any other objects produced or used by humans.
During the opening, attendees will us everyday objects to press a design into a clay tile. Tiles will be fired and glazed in our studio and can be picked up at Kimball Art Center two weeks after the event. Suggested $2 donation per tile.
This show is sponsored by Tomilee Tilley Family Fund and Rocky Mountain Power Foundation.
