Nathan Jarvis
He’s a Utah-born, nationally known, award-winning illustrator, designer, storyteller and teacher (art and ski).
Jarvis graduated from Art Center College of Design (BFA with honors) in 1983.
A short list of his clients includes: The New York Times, Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, General Mills, Oxford University Press, Sesame Street/CTW, Target, Highlights for Children, McGraw-Hill and FedEx.
Nathan served as the President of the Kansas City Art Directors Club as well as on the Kansas City Chapter AIGA board, worked for Hallmark Cards as an artist, art director and trainer.
He’s taught art to students from grade 1 through college seniors. He founded Jarvis & Associates LLC, Creative Services, in 1985.
Nathan’s career has been focused on (1) Helping kids—and adults who act like them—to laugh and learn, and (2) Helping a wide range of clients communicate clearly, quickly and memorably.
