It might be messy, but it sure to be fun! Campers play and learn with colors in various media from paint to sculpture and use the most innovative methods to create art. Be ready for the kinds of projects that have to be done in an art studio!
Week 4 (June 26-30)
Perspective Drawing
Improve your drawing skills and practice one point and two point perspective drawing, increasing the challenges and detail as the camp week progresses. Create interior spaces, cityscapes and landscapes that are realistic or surreal allowing you to add your creative twist.

At Kimball Art Center, we stretch more than just your creativity. YogART balances body, mind, and soul. Kids will learn meditation, mindfulness, and yoga while creating art projects inspired by the day’s theme.

Cartooning
If you love cartoons, get ready for an unforgettable week! Learn all about different cartooning styles and techniques,explore character creation, storyboarding and learn about the history of cartooning. From quick sketches to color drawings, students will create many exciting pieces by the end of the camp week.
Teeny Tiny Things in Clay
Really love teeny tiny things? Let’s learn to make them in clay! Make tiny fairy tea sets, miniature monsters, teensy-weensy worry dolls, and other pocket-sized projects in this hand building clay camp that celebrates all the small things.
All work will be fired and ready for pick up at the Kimball Art Center 14 days after your class. We do not ship class work.
