Wheel Throwing: 10-14 yrs old

Learn the basics of the potter’s wheel and make clay creations like cups, plates, and bowls. As students advance and build confidence, they can tackle additional wheel-thrown designs. All work will be fired and ready for pick up at the Kimball Art Center 14 days after your class. We do not ship class work. 

 

 

 

Make it and Wear it !

From bracelets to pins, design art that you can wear using different craft materials each day. The perfect camp for kiddos who love beading and sewing!

Animals In Art

Embark on an artistic safari with our Kids’ Animal Art Camp! From prowling tigers to soaring eagles, children will explore the untamed beauty of the animal kingdom through paint, pencils, pastels and sculpture. With guided instruction from passionate instructors, campers will ignite their imaginations to create majestic masterpieces inspired by the world’s most fascinating creatures.

Portraits and Figures

by

Gain confidence in drawing and painting portraits and figures using mirrors, photographs, clothed models and each other for reference. You will learn proportions, gesture, color and expression.

Art and Architecture

Kids will enjoy learning about the creative connection between art and architecture while learning about perspective and drawing buildings from their imagination and local sites.

All Around the World With Art

Travel the globe to discover new and exciting ways to create art and learn about the artists who inspire the processes. Campers will sculpt, paint, draw, make jewelry and more.
