THE WAY WE WALK
The Way We Walk
Join Kimball Art Center and The Museum of Walking for a nuanced exploration of movement, environment, and art. The Way We Walk, presented in collaboration with the Museum of Walking, invites us into a deeper listening experience through diverse ways of moving through physical space, tuning into the terrain of the everyday.
As we walk together in real time, we’ll explore how meandering as a group can help us step outside of familiar habits and engage more consciously with the layered dimensions of our shared realities and environments. This is a practice in slowing down, noticing nuance, and attuning ourselves to what is often imperceptible in our day-to-day lives.
We’ll start the walk at Kimball Art Center with an introduction from the Museum of Walking, followed by an hour-long urban walk, and concluding with time for group reflection and discussion. Space is limited, please RSVP.
