Monster Drawing Rally is a partnership fundraising event for the Arts Council of Park City & Summit County and Kimball Art Center, with proceeds benefiting both nonprofits. The live art-making event allows spectators to spy on the creative process, build relationships with local artists, and grow their art collections. This year’s Monster Draw will be held outdoors at Kimball Art Center, 1251 Kearns BLVD, and includes live music, food, and a cash bar.Tickets are $25 for adults, $10 for kids aged 6-17, and free for children 5 and under. Purchase tickets here. Ticket sales are limited, so purchasing in advance is encouraged to secure a spot.
Over the course of the afternoon, artists will create artwork LIVE for 50 minutes — artwork being created will include graphite drawings, pen and ink drawings, charcoal, paintings, digital art, collage, and more. Finished pieces are immediately available for purchase when the 50-minute timer runs out.
All pieces from the first two 50-minute rounds are sold for $50. Any piece with more than one hopeful owner will be decided by a random card draw. New in 2023, is a 30-minute 3rd round. Work completed during the Flash Round will sell for $35.
The Monster Drawing Rally is a great opportunity for our community to collect local artwork and build connections with local creative talent.
