ABOUT THE EXHIBITION
Kimball Art Center is pleased to announce the 2025 Wasatch Back Student Art Show, open to all students in Summit and Wasatch County Schools, grades K-12. This year’s exhibition theme is Earthen Forms – a creative journey in clay reflecting on the material exploration as a vessel of storytelling. We invited young artists to think about submitting works that feature clay as a primary medium or explore the theme of the earth through 2D art.
This year, the Wasatch Back Student Art Show will be showcased alongside Traces, an exhibition featuring groundbreaking artists who redefine ceramics as a medium for social, cultural, and material exploration. Inspired by our concurrent exhibition, local students were invited to reflect on its themes, drawing connections that sparked their own creativity. The result—deeply imaginative and thoughtful works of art that showcase their unique perspectives.
The exhibition will be on display from March 7 – May 18.
