A Night to Remember: 2025 Kimball Art Center Art Soirée Recap
Shaping Art in Park City never felt more possible than it did on the night of March 29, 2025. With the return of the Art Soirée, affectionately known as Park City’s ‘Art Party of the Year’, the Kimball Art Center welcomed hundreds of supporters to Pendry Park City for an unforgettable evening of creativity, community, and generosity.
Thanks to the incredible support of our guests, artists, volunteers, sponsors, and auction bidders, we raised over $300,000 to benefit the Kimball Art Center’s year-round mission to inspire, educate, and connect through art. The energy in the room was electric, and we are filled with deep gratitude for everyone who helped make it happen.
What Is the Kimball Art Soirée?
Held every spring, the Art Soirée is Kimball Art Center’s premier fundraising event—a dazzling evening of art, fashion, music, and community designed to raise critical funds for our exhibitions, education programs, and community outreach efforts. The soirée has become one of the signature art events in Park City, drawing artists, art enthusiasts, and art collectors from accross our community.
2025 Theme: Shaping Art in Park City
2025’s theme, Shaping Art in Park City, was inspired by our current exhibition Traces, which features the work of nine acclaimed female ceramicists. One of the featured artists was in attendance, and another, Brie Ruais, offered a private Santa Fe studio visit as part of our thrilling live auction.
The evening’s “Sculpted Elegance” dress code brought out stunning fashion statements, with guests embracing ruffles, architectural silhouettes, and bold, sculptural textures—true expressions of wearable art.
Highlights From This Year’s Art Party
- Live Pottery on the Dance Floor – Volunteers from our ceramics studio demonstrated wheel-throwing live during the party, adding a dynamic layer of artistry to the evening.
- Student + Teacher Ceramics for Sale – Beautiful works crafted by Kimball Art Center students and instructors were available for purchase, directly supporting our education programs.
- Music by DJ Dolph – Local favorite DJ Dolph kept the dance floor alive well into the night.
- Live Auction Entertainment – Our beloved auctioneer, Anna, brought infectious energy as guests bid on exclusive artwork and once-in-a-lifetime experiences.
Auction Highlights
This year’s live and silent auctions featured incredible packages, including:
- Original artwork by Kimball Art Center exhibiting artist Karl Haendel and renowned mixed-media artist Dolan Geiman
- Travel experiences to Portugal, Santa Fe, Kentucky, and Sun Valley
- A private dinner for eight at The Alpinist, one of Upper Deer Valley’s most anticipated new restaurants
