Fall Break Camp Day 1

Explore pottery, painting, drawing, printmaking, photography, and much more in this full-day camp. Lunch is not included.

Heads up! This camp welcomes a wide age range to help accommodate siblings. We do our best to create projects with variations that suit all ages in the same classroom. Our teachers balance group instruction with individual attention to keep everyone engaged. That said, if your child tends to get bored or frustrated around younger kids, this might not be the best fit for them.

Make it and Wear it !

From bracelets to pins, design art that you can wear using different craft materials each day. The perfect camp for kiddos who love beading and sewing! This camp is for 6-12 yr olds.




















All Things Paper Mache

In this camp, kids will dive into the world of paper mache, crafting everything from sculptures to masks to fun, 3D creations. Using paper, glue, and their imaginations, they’ll learn how to mold and shape their creations, adding layers and details for a perfect finish. A great way for young artists to explore texture, form, and creativity while having tons of fun! This camp is for 6-12 yr olds. Due to the Kimball Arts Festival, this will be a 4-day week with no camp on August 1.




















Stories into Art

by

Learn about picture book layout, pacing, character design, sketching thumbnail and composition to illustrate a full colored finished piece. Our storyboarding will encourage us to explore humor, wonder, depths of emotion, and the fantastical through our illustrations. The last day will be spent collaborating on a story for an artistic puppet show! 

This camp is for 6-12 yr olds.




















Animals in Art

by

Embark on an artistic safari with our Kids’ Animal Art Camp! From prowling tigers to soaring eagles, children will explore the untamed beauty of the animal kingdom through paint, pencils, pastels and sculpture. With guided instruction from passionate instructors, campers will ignite their imaginations to create majestic masterpieces inspired by the world’s most fascinating creatures. This camp is for 6-12 yr olds.




















Yoga and Art

At Kimball Art Center, we stretch more than just your creativity. YogART balances body, mind, and soul. Kids will learn meditation, mindfulness, and yoga while creating art projects inspired by the day’s theme. This camp is for 6-12 yr olds.
