This summer, we’ve introduced over 20 classes taught by bilingual (Español and English) instructor Janice Lafarga, including summer camps for tots, kids and teens and adult classes. Janice is originally from Spain where she grew up and started her undergraduate degree at the University of Barcelona in Graphic Design. She made the move to La Jolla, CA where she continued her studies and completed a Masters Degree in Company Management.
In 2007, Janice started working in the field of education and hasn’t left since. She’s been a teacher of graphic design at the Superior School of Design and Arts and is currently working as a teacher in the Dual Immersion program in Midway, UT.
Janice now calls Midway home and will be a fixture here at the Kimball Art Center this summer. We are excited to be able to offer art classes not only to English speaking students but also to Spanish speaking students.
