Dive into the art of printmaking! Carve into foam, cut out a stencil or make a relief design to create ‘stamps’ and impressions. Campers will also learn how to use a press to make multiples! Kids will leave class with a series of prints and a new appreciation for printmaking! This camp is for 10-14 year olds. Due to Pioneer Day, this will be a 4-day week with no camp on July 24.

Art Making Workshop with Maia Cruz Palileo
Join us for a hands-on art workshop led by Maia Cruz Palileo and supported by Kimball Art Center staff. Includes a tour of Long Kwento by the artist. Create an artwork inspired by family oral histories using personal photographs as references. Basic drawing and printmaking techniques will be taught and used to create a meaningful and personal narrative.
- Prior to the workshop participants will receive an email with information on reference images and reflection in preparation for the art making.
- Light appetizers and refreshments will be provided.

A time to create for budding artists! Modeling with dough, making art with sand, stamping using various textures, mini artists will explore art materials and sensory experiences.
Open Studio Sampler Evening- Adults
Join us for an evening of art, drinks, and community in Kimball Art Center studios.
Four different projects & media will be offered, each attendee has the opportunity to experience two different 30 minute classes assigned at random. The evening introduces attendees to a sampling of Kimball Art Center education programming.

We believe art is vital and an art education is a basic right for all. Kimball Art Center education programs serve artists ages 3 to 99 in nine different medias.
Class sizes will be limited, and masks will be required during the event.
