Campers will explore a variety of media in this contemporary art inspired camp – from the wire Art of Ruth Asawa to the pop art print of Andy Warhol – we’ll learn about the ideas and processes that go into making art and explore each media to find creative ideas of our own.
Art & Architecture- Kids
Campers will enjoy learning about the creative connection between art and architecture while learning about perspective and drawing buildings from their imagination and local sites.
Art Stew- Kids
Each day campers will make a new project using the “material of the day.” Expect paint, clay, collage, and other special materials.
Inspired by Artist- Kids
As we artists, we all look to put our unique mark on our work. Learn to analyze work and articulate inspiration as we learning from other artists’ projects.
Pottery For Your Plants- Kids
Campers will use various handbuilding techniques to create pots for herbs, succulents, and flowers.
Sewing- Kids (9-12 only)
Campers learn basic hand stitches and embroidery techniques to make pillowcases, tote bags, customized clothing and more!
