In this class dedicated to throwing plates and large platters, students will explore the art of creating both functional and creatively designed pieces. Plates serve as a versatile canvas, allowing potters to unleash their creativity through imaginative designs and decorations. Through wheel throwing techniques and artistic embellishments, participants will learn to transform these everyday items into visually captivating works of art, infusing their unique style into each piece.
Artwork will be fired by our dedicated clay studio staff. An exception is made for currently enrolled weekly class students, who have the opportunity to both trim and glaze their workshop pieces during designated open studio hours.
Please note that the firing process takes 7-14 days, and your finished pieces will be available for pick-up only; shipping is not offered for class creations. Remember to collect your masterpiece within 60 days to avoid recycling.
