Class Details

Turn clay into jewelry, charms, and small functional pieces in this creative camp for tweens! Students will explore handbuilding techniques to craft various accessories and even tiny jewelry boxes. Emphasis is on personal style, detail, and finishing skills so every piece is ready to show off or give as a gift. Perfect for young artists who love to make wearable art!

Note on firing: All work will be fired and ready for pick up in the Kimball Art Center 7 days after your class. We do not ship class work. If artwork is not picked up after 60 days it will be recycled. *Since artwork may look different after firing, make your pottery or sculpture recognizable by carving a signature into your piece. On the last day of camp, please join us for an art show to photograph work before it gets fired!
