Monday
Pottery Pets
Kids will be introduced to coil building, pinch pots, and slab construction as they create animal figures from their imagination. Each class will focus on a different technique and includes painting and glazing.
No class July 4th
Due to drying and firing times, all clay pieces will be available 14 days after camp.
Under the Sea in 3D
Tots explore sea creatures and make sculptures out balsa wood, air-dry clay, metallic foil, and many more 3D materials.
Art From Around the World
Travel the globe to discover new and exciting ways to create art and learn about the artists who inspire the processes. Campers will sculpt, paint, draw, make jewelry and more.
Watercolor Wonders
Explore the wonderful world of watercolor! The littles will learn about different watercolor techniques using wax resist, salt speckling, tape resist, and more. Your refrigerator will be decked out, as kids can take home a new masterpiece after each class.
Open Painting Studio
Do you need a convenient drop-in studio space? Kimball Art Center’s painting studio is available! We supply the easels and space, you bring your materials and work alongside other creatives. If you’re new to the Kimball, please check in with an education staff member at 10AM for a quick introductory tour of the facility. This open studio session is just $15 per person. Students must bring their own painting materials.
