What happens when we mix art and music together? Magic! Students build unique musical instruments in this class using art materials and recycled materials. Kids will make these projects their own by detailing the instruments with colors and symbols using painting and drawing materials. Kids will make mini guitars, hand drums, shakers, and more to create their very own artistic ensemble!

YogART for Kids
Be creative and active in YogART with Randi Jo! During the first hour, Randi Jo will lead a yoga lesson with the kids. During the second half of the class, kids will participate in an art project that aligns with the theme of the day. Kids will learn about mandalas, chakras, meditation, and mindfulness while creating and having fun!
Rad Recycled Reptiles
Learn about radical reptiles through art in this class. Kids will make 3-D sculpture animals out of recycled materials and paint. Alligators, turtles, bull frogs, and lizards are on the creative menu, and kids will take home a zoo of creatures to display.
Stop-Motion Animation for Kids
Students will learn to create animation ‘loops’ or GIFs using stop-motion animation. Kids will have the opportunity to view examples of work, and brainstorm some concepts together. Learn what a “Loop” is, and create animated sculptures. The bulk of the week will focus on the animating process and creating characters. Kids will experience guided editing, rendering, and putting final animations on flash drives (for take-home), and will present their work during class. Creative Critters and Creatures
Summer time brings out all of the colorful critters and creatures! Kids create ladybugs, caterpillars, and bumble bees in this fun mixed-media class.
Draw Outside the Lines for Kids
This is no ordinary drawing class! Be prepared to draw outside the lines and experiment with new drawing techniques. Emily will encourage students to share ideas and push boundaries by including collage elements into their drawings, revealing new perspectives and textures! This class allows students to think beyond the pencil and white blank page. If your kid loves to draw and is interested in exploring new avenues in drawing, this is the class!
