Join us for an eight week in-depth exploration of clay on the potter’s wheel. This class is perfect for clay artists who are comfortable throwing on the wheel and eager to expand their practice with new skills and advanced techniques. Learn through expert demonstrations, hands-on practice, and mentorship from our experienced teaching artist, all while collaborating with peers. This class is not intended for beginner potters. Note on firing: All work will be fired and ready for pick up in the Kimball Art Center 7-14 days after your class. We do not ship class work. If artwork is not picked up after 60 days it will be recycled. *Since artwork may look different after firing, make your pottery or sculpture recognizable by carving a signature into your piece. 

The $50 material fee includes a bag of clay, with options including Rods Bod, Death Valley, and Stoney White. Porcelain is not included. Students wishing to use porcelain can get their material fee refunded and purchase porcelain separately at the front desk.
