About Katy Wang:
Katharine Wang is the Executive Director of Park City Film, an independent, non-profit Art House Cinema based in Park City, UT. A New York City native, she has been a devotee of independent and foreign cinema from a young age and studied independent cinema and documentary film as an American Studies major at Georgetown University. Ms. Wang has been the lead curator for Park City Film since 2017, leading the expansion of the organization’s programming with a focus on elevating diverse voices and developing film-based events that foster community dialogue. She has served on a number of Boards including Young Women Social Entrepreneurs (founding member), Environmental Professionals of Color, Summit Community Gardens and Summit County Library. She also serves as a juror for Park City High School’s Miner’s Film Festival and a panelist for the National Endowment for the Arts, is a graduate of Leadership Park City and holds a Master’s Degree in Environmental Policy and Behavior from the University of Michigan.
