About her new role, Smith said, “I am thrilled to join the Kimball Art Center. I look forward to working with the staff and board to continue the legacy of excellence of this dynamic organization. With a rich history, the KAC plays a unique and profound role in the arts. The classes inspire artists young and old, the annual Kimball Arts Festival brings together artists and the community for an incredible celebration of art, and the Center offers spectacular exhibits that enrich the cultural fabric of Park City and beyond. It is an exciting time to be joining the Kimball Art Center as we plan for a new facility that will allow us to expand our ability to inspire and connect through art. As summarized so aptly by our slogan, ‘Art Starts Here’ and I’m excited to start.”
