Daytime Wheel – Session 4
A beginner class with a series of skill-building practices will introduce you to the joys of working with clay on the wheel. The basic skills of wheel-thrown pottery will be introduced through step-by-step instruction in clay preparation, throwing on the wheel, trimming, handles and the firing process. Students will learn how to throw a cylinder, cup, bowl, and plate.
All work will be fired and ready for pick up in the Kimball Art Center lobby 7-14 days after your class. We do not ship class work.
Wheel Throwing Intermediate Concepts-Session 4
Join us for an in-depth exploration of clay on the potter’s wheel. Learn clay preparation, wheel throwing, trimming, handle pulling and the firing process while creating cups, mugs, bowls, plates and other forms.

Wheel Throwing Basics- Session 4
This six week course introduces students to the basics of throwing on the potter’s wheel. Your instructor will cover technique, trimming, and glazing application.

Adult Painting Concepts – Session 4
Back to basics. Explore clouds and skies learning about light vs shadow coloring. Discover new color palettes by practicing smaller paintings. We will explore details such as trees, rocks, clouds etc which will help with overall landscape paintings.
