Family Friendly Workshop: Rabbit Pinch Pots in Clay

Welcome in springtime by creating rabbit pinch pots in clay. Explore the pinch method and attach pieces together to make a hollow rabbit. Once created, details and glazes will be added on to the rabbit. This is a family fun spring project! All work will be fired and ready for pick up 7-14 days after your class. We do not ship class work. If artwork is not picked up after 60 days it will be recycled. Price is per project. Kids under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.

 

 

Family Friendly Workshop: Snowflake Plates in Clay

In this class, students will learn fun handbuilding techniques to make their own snowflake plate in clay! After constructing plates, students will apply slips and underglazes to finish their piece. All work will be fired and ready for pick up 7-14 days after your class. We do not ship class work. If artwork is not picked up after 60 days it will be recycled. Price is per project. Kids under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.

 

 

Family Friendly Workshop: Heart Bowls in Clay

With Valentine’s day around the corner, create heart-shaped clay cups using the pinch method. Explore glazing the cups before being fired. All work will be fired and ready for pick up 7-14 days after your class. We do not ship class work. If artwork is not picked up after 60 days it will be recycled. Price is per project. Kids under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.

 

Gingerbread Houses

Art is pretty sweet indeed. Build your own gingerbread house with icing, candy, graham crackers and more. Price is per child, adults are free. Under 6 years old must be accompanied by an adult. 

Mini Artists

A time to create for budding artists! Mini Artist is carefully designed by Kimball Art Center staff to support growing toddlers and their interest in art making. This class includes meaningful studio time in our Kimball Art Center studios with experiential art activities, exciting and age appropriate gallery tours, play, and sensory experiences. Mini Artists classes are held from 4 – 5PM for children 3-5 years old. Each session is $15 and includes all required materials.
