Students will learn to use the potters wheel to create succulent planters.
Storytelling on Clay
Clay is responsive and expressive. Join this class to explore basic building techniques to create a vase. Then add your own story through drawing, pressing and carving into the clay.
Family Wheel Throwing
Bring a friend or a family member (or yourself!) to this wheel throwing class! Students will get their hand messy to learn the art of wheel thrown pottery. In this hands-on class, students will work at the potter’s wheel to create a bowl or cup to be glazed and fired. Please allow 14-18 days for drying and firing. Local pick up required.
Teen Drawing
The intuitive nature of doodling can feel relaxing and almost therapeutic. Let’s practice letting go of our expectations and see where our drawing utensil takes us! Each participant will submit an idea that they really want to draw, and each week, we will learn to draw the ideas together! This five-class is designed for youth ages 12-17.
Create Your Own Coloring Book
Coloring is proven to boost creativity and even reduce stress. Through this five-week class, students will draw individual, unique coloring pages and compile the pages together into a coloring book to enjoy after the class is over. This class is designed for youth ages 6-12.
