Painting Concepts 2 Virtual Class

Choosing either acrylic or oil paints, artists will learn to paint from references including photographs and still-life sets. Be sure to have some personal images nearby to reference.

We will start this virtual class with a lecture and feedback before the other half of class (meeting in person) joins us.

Materials list will be provided upon registration.

A time for those who like to create outdoors and share community with other artists! All levels of experience are welcome. Bring watercolors, oils, charcoal, or any medium of choice to draw from the beautiful outdoor locations in the Park City Area. 

Due to the location and time frame, this is not a class with traditional formal instruction. What you can expect is a brief introductory demonstration and guidance throughout class. Participants receive feedback from peers and Kimball Art Center Staff. 

Information about meeting location is sent out to students 2 hrs before the start time of class. While we will meet in person, social distancing will be practiced. Price is per session.

Bring your own materials: Paper, pencils, charcoal, pens, colored pencils, eraser, markers, watercolors, paints.

Learn the fundamentals of landscape drawing and painting while practicing skills and techniques at various Park City locations. These one-day sessions allow you to work with your own materials in a variety of media. While we will meet in person, social distancing will be practiced. Price is per session.

Magical Mosaics with Katherine England

Assembling small pieces of colored glass, stone, and other materials, students will learn how to design, choose color, form lines, and shape a decorative piece of art. While we will meet in person, social distancing will be practiced.
