This is not a typical class, instead, a studio staff member will provide a demonstration at the start of the session in either wheel throwing or hand building techniques. A nominal $45 fee includes enough clay for two completed pieces as well as firing and glazing. This class is for adults ages 17+. All work will be fired and ready for pick up in the Kimball Art Center lobby 7-14 days after your class. We do not ship class work. If artwork is not picked up after 60 days it will be recycled. *Since artwork may look different after firing, make your pottery or sculpture recognizable by carving a signature into your piece.

Glass Fusion Workshop – Valentines
Celebrate Valentine’s Day creatively in our Glass Fusion Class! In just 2.5 hours, craft a unique piece using colorful glass, guided by our expert instructor. Fused glass is glass that has been fired (heat-processed) in a kiln at a range of high temperatures. Perfect for a personalized gift or a creative date, this class offers a fun and memorable way to express your love. Please note that firing takes 7-14 days, and your beautiful fused glass creation will be ready for pickup afterward. We do not ship class work. Plan on one hour to complete the project, themes vary each day and are appropriate for kids and adults! Kids under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. Cost is $5 per person/project.
