In Stefan Lesueur’s project Sky Lights (included in the current exhibition), the sky is presented as a motif that is both universal and personal. Everyone recognizes the sky, but seeing the sky in a particular state (like a sunset) or knowing that it is over a certain place brings about specific memories and stories. In his workshop, Stefan invites participants to partake in playful tasks that help us observe and understand how each of the five senses function physically, and how they influence our perception and memory. Through these exercises, participants will learn how to use sensorial cues to create a certain mood, translate a story or place, or even reinvigorate an unused space.

Glass Fusion Workshop
Learn to create fused glass ornaments for giving or keeping! Fused glass is glass that has been fired (heat-processed) in a kiln at a range of high temperatures. In this class you will create your own design, cut and trim glass, and prepare your ornaments for firing. 13+ All work will be fired and ready for pick up 14 days after your class. We do not ship class work.
Family Friendly Workshop: Holiday Ornaments in Clay
Make your own ornaments from clay! Use a stencil to cut them out or design your own. Then, texture and glaze them to make them unique. All work will be fired and ready for pick up 7-14 days after your class. We do not ship class work. If artwork is not picked up after 60 days it will be recycled. Price is per project. Kids under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
Family Friendly Workshop: Pumpkin Painting Party
Although Halloween is over, there’s still time to have fun with pumpkins and enjoy the end of fall! Find inspiration from artist Yayoi Kusama and explore painting pumpkins with patterns, colors and designs! Price is per project. Kids under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
