Adult Wheel Throwing- “Thinking Through Function”
This class is focused on creating functional pottery that begins by using the potters wheel. We will discuss and practice the small details that make up a good functional piece. From mugs to bowls, to vases, we will build our skills on the potter’s wheel and refine our ability to identify important details to function. This weekly class includes studio time, discussions and personal one-on-one instruction (if desired).
“Beyond the Basics”- Adult Wheel Throwing Workshop (2 Day)
In this two day workshop in “beyond the basics”, we will continue to practice our abilities on the potter’s wheel, and investigate new and simple ways to create new forms. We will explore new techniques such as creating spouts, throwing and altering, darting, and creating sets. Participates are encouraged to bring a sketchbook to capture new ideas, and will also have studio time to practice these new techniques.
Daytime Wheel Throwing 2

Due to drying and firing times, pottery will be ready to pick up 12-14 days after the class session is finished.
