This clay hand-building class introduces students to various techniques and glazing. Student will learn techniques such as coil building and slab construction to gain a better understanding and appreciation of the ceramic medium. Due to drying and firing times, pottery will be ready to pick up 12-14 days after the class session is finished.

Daytime Adult Clay Wheel
A series of skill-building practices will introduce you to the basic skills of working with clay on the wheel. Instructors guide students with step by step instruction including clay preparation, throwing on the wheel, trimming, handles and the firing process. This 7 week class supports the growth in the media. Students will bisque fire and glaze successful work. Due to drying and firing times, pottery will be ready to pick up 12-14 days after the class session is finished.
Summer Ceramic Ice Cream Bowls
Students will learn to use the potters wheel to Ice Cream Bowls.
Ceramics Succulent Planters
Students will learn to use the potters wheel to create succulent planters.
Storytelling on Clay
Clay is responsive and expressive. Join this class to explore basic building techniques to create a vase. Then add your own story through drawing, pressing and carving into the clay.
Family Wheel Throwing
Bring a friend or a family member (or yourself!) to this wheel throwing class! Students will get their hand messy to learn the art of wheel thrown pottery. In this hands-on class, students will work at the potter’s wheel to create a bowl or cup to be glazed and fired. Please allow 14-18 days for drying and firing. Local pick up required.
