Adult Painting; Art History
Join us for an adult painting class that offers an interactive approach to art history. Each painting lesson will inspire an art project based on the methods and style explored in the lesson.

Contemporary modern landscape/wildlife painting in oil and acrylic – “keep it alive”
-Choose from your favorite photograph or multiple photographs.
-Express what the the mood of the painting will convey; atmospheric, spiritual or physiological sensations in the landscape.

Adult Painting; Fall Colors into Winter Scenes
We will immerse ourselves into the warm hues of autumn! Students will explore layering paint onto an underpainting to achieve the illusion of changing fall foliage. As we are surrounded by aspen trees that undergo a dramatic transformation to golds, our inspiration is abundant. The goal is to capture the unique quality of light and palette of colors that make this time of year both beautiful and ephemeral.
