Bring watercolors, oils, charcoal, or any medium of choice to draw from the beautiful outdoor locations in the Park City Area. Due to the location and time frame, this is not a class with traditional formal instruction. What you can expect is a brief introductory demonstration and guidance throughout class. Participants receive feedback from peers and Kimball Art Center Staff. Information about meeting location is sent out to students 6 hrs before the start time of class. While we will meet in person, social distancing will be practiced. Price is per session.

Portrait Painting Intensive (3 Day)
Focusing on shape, value, form, and color chroma, this three-day workshop will broaden your understanding of what it takes to create a life-like portrait in oil paint. Each day, watch Lis demonstrate her approach to developing likeness, and then try your hand at her methods!
Intro to Botanical Painting – Tulips (2 Days)
Using traditional botanical watercolor techniques, you will discover the joy of this meditative and observational art form which captures the beauty of plants and flowers with extraordinary detail and scientific accuracy.
Painting Concepts
Choosing either acrylic or oil paints, students will learn to paint from references including photographs and still-life sets. Personal images are welcome too! Students will learn the necessary skills to further their painting or advance to another class.The course is open to everyone and a materials list for students to purchase will be provided.
Spring Break Youth Camp 3 – 2 spots left
Featuring drawing, painting, clay, mixed media, and more. Each full day of camp is just $75 per child and offers a new creative learning experience and art project. Lunch is not included. Please bring lunch and snack.
