Leave the sticky mess to us, and create unique houses and sculptures using icing, candy and graham crackers. Space is limited in this class.  This class is offered 4 times to accommodate high demand. We do our best to accommodate those students with allergies, but we MUST be informed ahead of time!

Using air dry clay and clay that can be fired, students will learn how to create keepsake ornaments using slab, coil and pinching techniques.  We will also have cookie cutter stamps to make holiday themed shapes! Students will be able to leave class with the air dry ornaments, however students will need to allow ornaments drying time before they place them on the tree or to decorate at home. The other clay ornaments will dry and be placed in the kiln, ready to be picked up in 7-10 days after class.

Come learn how to create a special clay cookie plate that is made for Santa.  While plates dry, students will have the opportunity to decorate sugar cookies as a treat to be eaten after class. This is a great class for siblings, cousins and other family members to take together while parents are out running holiday errands.  Students under 5 need to be accompanied by an adult.  Please be aware the many food items are used in this class. We do our best to accommodate those students with allergies – make sure to notify us beforehand! Due to drying and firing times, pottery will be ready to pick up 7-10 days after the class session is finished.

Spend time with family and create ceramic bowls of all shapes and sizes for the Thanksgiving table.  Kids and adults will have opportunities to experiment with the pottery wheel to learn wheel throwing techniques, as well as learn hand building methods to make bowls or vessels.  Students will glaze successful work.  These bowls will be treasured by loved ones and will make for a unique addition at your dining room table for years to come. Due to drying and firing times, pottery will be ready to pick up 7-10 days after the class session is finished.  Please note that children under 7 cannot use a wheel independently as they are not strong enough and must share a wheel with an adult!
