This is HUGE! Students will be introduced to large-scale methods to create drawings, paintings and sculptures that can’t fit in a sketchbook

Campers will work with all types of materials to make one-of-a-kind creations! Campers will cultivate dexterity, confidence, creativity, and problem solving while improving focus, collaboration, imagination, hand-eye coordination, and following instructions and much more throughout the week.
Painting Fun
Learn about the many ways to paint your favorite things using watercolor, acrylic, palette knives, special techniques and more!
Book Illustration
Students will learn techniques for effective visual storytelling; we will design our art to captivate the viewer and narrate a scene. This class will introduce picture book layout, pacing, character design, sketching thumbnail compositions for a spread, to finally illustrate a full colored finished piece. Our storyboarding will encourage us to explore humor, wonder, depths of emotion, and the fantastical through our illustrations.
