Clay Bird Houses
Have fun with Cameron as he leads students in making their very own bird houses to hang from a tree, or keep on a porch. Using slab, slip, and coil techniques, Cameron will teach you all of the steps you need to create something you and your child will be proud of! Students will paint the bird houses with bright glazes. Due to drying and firing times, pottery will be ready to pick up 10-12 days after the class.
Recycled Glass Wind Chimes
Create a beautiful found object and recycled glass wind chime. Several wind chime styles will be available for students to choose from and a wide selection of recycled glass beads, rings, donuts and other pieces. Students are encouraged to bring found objects to incorporate into their wind chime. This class is recommended for kids 6+, and both adults and kids will make their very own wind chime for display!
Clay Snow Scapes!
In this class, students will learn fun hand building techniques to make their own snow scape! Make igloos, snowmen, snowflakes, snowy mountains and more! After constructing pieces, students will apply slips and underglazes to finish their piece before it goes into the kiln. Due to drying and firing times, pieces will be ready 10-12 days after the class.
Making Pottery Together: Wheel Throwing I
Learn the basics of wheel throwing! Students will learn how to throw on the wheel and will decorate and add glazes to finish their pieces. A wheel throwing demo will be given and then students will work beside their family member to each create one wheel thrown piece. Students will add hand built embellishments and paint so that their piece is ready to fire in the kilns. Due to drying and firing times, pottery will be ready to pick up 10-12 days after the class session is finished. Please note that children under 7 cannot use a wheel independently as they are not strong enough and must share a wheel with an adult!
Fused Glass Christmas Ornaments
Have you ever wanted to create one-of- a-kind Christmas ornaments or gifts?
