At Kimball Art Center, we stretch more than just your creativity. Yoga and ART balances body, mind, and soul. Kids will learn meditation, mindfulness, and yoga while creating art projects inspired by the day’s theme.

Practice the basics of the potter’s wheel and make clay creations like cups, plates, and bowls. As students advance and build confidence, they can tackle additional wheel-thrown designs. Because each student is unique, projects may be altered and one-on-one instruction will be given to suit each student’s skills, talents, knowledge, and interest level.

Family friendly tours to explore our current exhibition. Educators foster youth friendly discussion focused on noticing elements in the art, learning vocabulary and supporting creative ideas. Tours are followed by an art making experience that links to the themes and materials in the exhibition.
