Explore the clay studio and make a different project each week. Week 1, make a footed pinch bowl. Week 2, attach coils to form a decorative bowl. Week 3, make cups with slabs. Week 4, glaze your greenware so that its ready for the kiln. All work will be fired and ready for pick up in the Kimball Art Center lobby 7-14 days after your class. We do not ship class work. If artwork is not picked up after 60 days it will be recycled. *Since artwork may look different after firing, make your pottery or sculpture recognizable by carving a signature into your piece.

Family Friendly Workshop: Menorahs in Clay
Make your own Menorah from clay! Explore various unique ways of building a Menorah using shapes, designs, texture and glazes to make it your very own. All work will be fired and ready for pick up 7-14 days after your class. We do not ship class work. If artwork is not picked up after 60 days it will be recycled. Price is per project. Kids under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
Noon Years Eve
Noon Year’s Eve is a fun and creative way for the littles to ring in the New Year at a kid-appropriate time!
Kids under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. Price is $35 per child, adults are free. Light refreshments will be provided.

Heads up! This camp welcomes a wide age range to help accommodate siblings. We do our best to create projects with variations that suit all ages in the same classroom. Our teachers balance group instruction with individual attention to keep everyone engaged. That said, if your child tends to get bored or frustrated around younger kids, this might not be the best fit for them.
