Winter Mugs
Create your own clay mug using stamps, carving tools, and hand-building techniques to add textures and images for a one-of-a kind mug.
Handbuilding in Clay Session 2
A 4 week session that allows the artists to design, form, and complete a hand-building project using slab, coil, or pinch construction. Surface and glazing techniques will be explored and designed to complement their project.
Creating Surfaces/ Narratives and Mark Making in Clay
Sgraffito, Mishima, water etching, underglaze application, colored slip application, carving, stamps and roulettes. In this class, students will learn and experiment with various surface techniques to create patterns, marks or narratives on clay. Clay experience recommended, but not required.
