Quick Sketches Watercolor Workshop
Discover how to draw with flowing lines and paint with flowing colors using Cindy’ Quick Sketch method. You’ll learn how you can capture your travels with colorful sketches of a range of subjects. Cindy shows you how to simplify and capture the essence of your subject as we celebrate your emerging style. All levels.
Painting Zion Watercolor Workshop
Explore the dramatic light, shapes and colors of Zion using watercolor as your medium. Cindy will share her approach for capturing the majestic stone cathedrals with her Utah palette of colors. You’ll discover how to draw Zion scenery with flowing organic lines or you can trace from Cindy’s prepared drawing. Then we’ll immerse our brushes into watercolor and mingle stunning colors right on the paper. Experienced Beginners +
Wheel Throwing 2
A series of skill-building practices will introduce you to the basic skills of working with clay on the wheel. Instructors guide students with step by step instruction including clay preparation, throwing on the wheel, trimming, handles and the firing process. This 7 week class supports the growth in the media. Students will bisque fire and glaze successful work. Due to drying and firing times, pottery will be ready to pick up 12-14 days after the class session is finished.
