Painting Fun

Explore the wonderful world of paint! The littles will learn about different kinds of paint from watercolor to finger paint and portray all sorts of people, places and more. Your refrigerator will be decked out, as kids can take home a new masterpiece after each class.

 

 

Print, Paint and Repeat

by

Dive into the art of printmaking!  Carve into foam, cut out a stencil or make a relief design to create ‘stamps’ and impressions. Campers will also learn how to use a press to make multiples! Kids will leave class with a series of prints and a new appreciation for printmaking!

 

 

 

Animal Creations

From the tallest to the smallest, we will play, paint, craft and learn all about our favorite animals using various materials.

 

 

Colors and Shapes

by

Square windows, blue skies, green trees, and round eyes! We’ll have fun making art using various hues and shapes of all sizes.

 

 

Painting and Color Exploration

by

Express yourself while building upon the basic principles and foundations of painting. Practice the basics of color theory, proper application of paint, and fundamentals of composition and design. Because each student is unique, projects may be altered and one-on-one instruction will be given to suit each student’s skills, talents, knowledge, and interest level.

From crafting with pouring on coasters, ornaments, jewelry, and vases, to creating fine art on canvases and substrates, the skies the limit. This acrylic paint technique process creates beautiful abstract art. No two pieces will ever be alike and the results always have the element of surprise. This cocktail coaster painting class will be hands on and you will learn: -prepping surfaces -how to mix the basic 3 layers -the actual pouring onto surfaces and a few techniques -manipulation of the paints to create desired effects -glossy acrylic finishes that makes the paints POP! **Suggested dress: Jackson Pollock casual.
