Refine your drawing and painting skills with Anna, who will teach you how sketch and paint your pet or favorite animal. Bring a photo of your pet or any creature you love and learn how to construct a painting of it by using some of the fundamental elements of art and principles of design. We will study the major shapes and forms of your animal in order to make accurate sketches. Then after investigating the color and lighting within your photo, we will begin to paint your animal. This class will help you learn how to analyze the basic visual characteristics of animals and how to depict them through the painting process.

Plein Air Painting for Teens
Paint and picnic with Annette in City Park! Bring a snack and enjoy learning the basics of painting ‘Plein Air’, or painting outdoors. Students will discover how light and shadow look different when observing from real life rather than from a photograph. We will paint landscapes, skies, and perhaps your favorite run or trail at Park City Mountain Resort! Annette takes a simple approach, teaching students how to break down landscapes into recognizable forms. Find out how enjoyable the Plein Air painting experience can be outside the classroom!
Mix It Up: Painting and Mixed Media for Teens
Mix it up with Emily in this class that encourages imagination and thinking outside the box. Teens will learn and practice interesting techniques using paint and paper on canvas, making both representational and abstract works. This is a great course for teens or tweens who love to paint, and are looking to explore new avenues in painting!
Art Splash for Kids
In this class, students are going to work with paper plates, paint, and other collage materials to create the most amazing and wonderful aquarium that you have ever seen. Make fish, octopi, seahorses, and jellyfish that will fit into a custom made cardboard aquarium. Bring your imagination and love for the ocean!
Mix It Up: Painting and Collage for Kids
Mix it up with Emily in this class that encourages imagination and thinking outside the box. Kids will learn about how to use paint and paper in one piece of artwork, making both representational and abstract masterpieces of art! Bring your creativity and have fun!
Watercolor Wonders for Tots
Tots learn about the wondrous world of watercolor! Emily will lead fun projects for the tots as they learn about different watercolor techniques using wax resist, salt speckling, tape resist, and more. Students will go home with a new painting each day, leaving class with new knowledge about watercolor painting. After the art projects are finished for the day, students will go outside to play games as a reward for their hard work creating! Parents do not need to accompany children in this class.
