Art & Movement!

February 14, 2025 by

Art in Motion: This camp explores the connection between movement, creativity, and self-expression! We invite campers to explore how artists use their bodies—whether through brush strokes, dance, or sound—to create dynamic and meaningful art. This camp will blend visual art with kinetic energy, encouraging participants to experiment with gestural drawing or painting, create patterns through movement, and explore the relationship between sound and art. Discover how movement and imagination can bring art to life in new and exciting ways! Due to the Kimball Arts Festival, this will be a 4-day week with no camp on August 1.

Print, Paint, and Repeat

February 14, 2025 by

Dive into the art of printmaking!  Carve into foam, cut out a stencil or make a relief design to create ‘stamps’ and impressions. Campers will also learn how to use a press to make multiples! Kids will leave class with a series of prints and a new appreciation for printmaking!  This camp is for 10-14 year olds. Due to Pioneer Day, this will be a 4-day week with no camp on July 24.

Unicorns, Dragons, and Other Worldly Creatures!

February 14, 2025 by

Wild imaginations meet artistic creations as kids are encouraged to let their minds wander to magical and mythological worlds filled with dragons, fairies, superheroes, and more. Kiddos will create paintings, sculptures, drawings and crafts! This camp is for 6-12yr olds.

Crafts, Craft Crafts

February 14, 2025 by

Work with all types of materials to make one-of-a-kind creations! Campers will cultivate dexterity, confidence, creativity, problem solving and much more throughout this week that highlights all of our favorite and most fun crafts. This camp is for 6-12yr olds.

Young Filmmakers: Create Your Own Movie!

February 14, 2025 by

In our Young Filmmakers: Create Your Own Movie! camp, kids will create their own films using iPads and laptops! Over four exciting days, they’ll brainstorm, shoot, and edit their movies while learning storytelling, camera techniques, and editing skills. The camp ends with a special screening of their films!

The camp will be led by Parker Gehring, a director, writer, producer, and editor of the independently produced film Lucy and Whitney. Parker, who holds a BA in Media Arts from Brigham Young University , has a strong background in film theory, leadership, and group organizational skills. He also travels across Utah teaching film workshops for the Utah Film Center and brings his expert knowledge to help students master the filmmaking process.

Due to the Fourth of July holiday, this will be a 4-day week with no camp on July 4.

Mixed Media Mash!

Collage, acrylic painting, drawing, mixed media, print-making, watercolor, pen and ink, and other non-traditional techniques are all options. This camp is for 6-12yr olds.
