OFFSITE Camp Sketch Lab: Next-Level Drawing @ Parleys Park Elementary

Whether you love sketching from observation or inventing something totally new, this camp is all about building confidence, creativity, and having a blast with fellow young artists! We’ll explore people, animals, landscapes and imaginative designs and experiment with pencils, charcoal, markers and pen & ink. Learn shading techniques, perspective tricks, and bring your ideas to life with bold lines and dynamic compositions.

We’ll explore painting, printmaking, mixed media, and more—experimenting with bright palettes, color mixing, and eye-catching designs. From abstract masterpieces to imaginative landscapes, every project will be a celebration of color and self-expression.

We’ll explore the beauty of plants, bugs, and the great outdoors through hands-on artmaking, mixing natural materials with colorful creativity. Whether you’re sculpting a clay critter or designing your own dream garden, this camp is perfect for little nature lovers ready to bring their imagination to life!

Sewing, Crocheting, Needle Felting 101

Discover the world of fabric and fiber arts in our Sewing, Crocheting, Needle Felting 101 camp! Learn the basics of sewing, crocheting, and needle felting while creating your own fun projects. From mastering simple stitches to making unique handmade items, you’ll gain new skills and confidence in these creative crafts. Join us for a hands-on, fun-filled experience and leave with your own beautiful creations! This camp is for 10-14 yr olds.
























Painting FUNdamentals

Express yourself while exploring oil painting. Practice the basics of color theory, proper application of paint, and fundamentals of composition and design. Because each student is unique, projects may be altered and one-on-one instruction will be given to suit each student’s skills, talents, knowledge, and interest level. This camp is for 10-14 yr olds. Due to the Kimball Arts Festival, this will be a 4-day week with no camp on August 1.
























Identity Through Art: Find Your Style!

Dive into a world of artistic expression in our mixed media camp where students explore a myriad of mediums on canvas. From acrylics and watercolors to collage and texture paste, discover the endless possibilities of combining different materials to bring your unique vision to life. Embrace experimentation as you learn to layer, blend, and manipulate diverse mediums to create captivating compositions. This camp is for 13-18 yr olds. Due to Pioneer Day, this will be a 4-day week with no camp on July 24.
