Join us for a week long camp where young artists dive into a world of vibrant hues, creative expression, and endless possibilities! Each project is designed for mini painters to explore the magic of colors through a variety of fun and engaging activities. Due to the Kimball Arts Festival, this will be a 4-day week with no camp on August 1.
Art All About Nature: Bugs, Flowers, Trees, and More!
Come explore nature through fun art projects in Art All About Nature! Little ones will paint flowers, create bug collages, and make tree crafts while learning about the world around them. Using simple materials and lots of color, tots will bring nature’s beauty to life in playful, creative ways. Perfect for young artists who love to explore and get messy with their hands!
The Animals Around Us: Art about Local Wildlife
Explore the diverse and fascinating world of local wildlife right here in the mountains of Park City. This week-long journey is tailor-made for mini artists curious about the creatures that share our natural surroundings, from majestic mountain lions to charming moose capturing them in various media from paint to sculpture.
Advanced Wheel Throwing Session 3
Join us for an 8 week in-depth exploration of clay on the potter’s wheel. This class is perfect for clay artists who are comfortable throwing on the wheel and eager to expand their practice with new skills and advanced techniques. Learn through expert demonstrations, hands-on practice, and mentorship from our experienced teaching artist, all while collaborating with peers. This class is not intended for beginner potters. Please check our calendar to find a more appropriate course.
Note on firing: All work will be fired and ready for pick up in the Kimball Art Center 7-14 days after your class. We do not ship class work. If artwork is not picked up after 60 days it will be recycled. *Since artwork may look different after firing, make your pottery or sculpture recognizable by carving a signature into your piece.
The $50 material fee includes a bag of clay, with options including Rods Bod, Death Valley, and Stoney White. Porcelain is not included. Students wishing to use porcelain can get their material fee refunded and purchase porcelain separately at the front desk.
