Plein Air Evenings 1

Learn the fundamentals of landscape drawing and painting while practicing skills and techniques at various Park City locations. These one-day sessions allow you to work with your own materials in a variety of media. While we will meet in person, social distancing will be practiced. Art Connoisseur Club

Talking about art can be intimidating. We’ll help you get comfortable discussing art in this conversation-only class. We’ll examine a variety of contemporary artwork and ask thought-provoking questions to initiate a dialogue that will help participants understand the value of art, the role of an artist, how to interpret meaning, consider how an artist finds inspiration, and examine the subjects, issues, and themes important to artists.

Mini Artist — Inside Out Art

Gnomes, fairies, and dragons, OH MY! Kids will learn how to build creatures and make art from the inside out.

Materials needed:

Corks, pom poms or cotton balls, toothpicks, liquid glue, yarn, felt, buttons, googly eyes or blingy things

Mini Artist — Ecosystem Art

Kids will enjoy creating an ocean, safari, desert, or mountain scene using objects found in nature.

Materials needed:

Leaves of all sizes, small twigs, pine needles, flowers and or petals, pencils, scissors.

Mini Artist — Busy as a Bee

This class is sure to create some buzz! We’ll design bees and beehives using yarn!

Materials needed:

Construction paper &/or printer paper, markers, yarn, liquid glue, scissors.
