In this immersive art camp, teens will explore the fascinating world of drawing people. From capturing facial expressions to portraying body movements, participants will learn foundational techniques to bring human figures to life on paper. Through a series of engaging exercises and projects, students will delve into anatomy, proportions, and gesture drawing, honing their observational skills and developing their own unique artistic style.

 

 

Watercolor

Go with the flow of watercolors in this camp and practice your color skills, brush work and control of the media. Each day explore a different subject matter, grow your ideas and enjoy the wonderful media of watercolor.

 

 

Express Yourself: Drawing, Collage and Mixed Media Techniques

Dive into a world of artistic expression in our mixed media camp where students explore a myriad of mediums on canvas. From acrylics and watercolors to collage and texture paste, discover the endless possibilities of combining different materials to bring your unique vision to life. Embrace experimentation as you learn to layer, blend, and manipulate diverse mediums to create captivating compositions. 

 

 

Oil Painting

Express yourself while exploring oil painting. Practice the basics of color theory, proper application of paint, and fundamentals of composition and design. Because each student is unique, projects may be altered and one-on-one instruction will be given to suit each student’s skills, talents, knowledge, and interest level.

 

Mugs, Bowls, And Plates for Kids

by

Using a variety of different techniques, kids will learn how to create cups, bowls and plates out of ceramics with their hands. On the final day we will paint and glaze them to make them truly unique!

Wheel Throwing 3

Learn the basics of the potter’s wheel and make clay creations like cups, plates, and bowls.  Kids Ages 8+ only.
