Join our mini artists for an inspiring week of cosmic exploration, where imagination takes flight among the stars! This stellar journey promises a galaxy of creativity through painting, coloring, exploration, and play.
YogART
At Kimball Art Center, we stretch more than just your creativity. YogART balances body, mind, and soul. Kids will learn meditation, mindfulness, and yoga while creating art projects inspired by the day’s theme.
Painting Through the Seasons: Spring and Summer Watercolor Workshop
Spring is in the air and summer is fast approaching! We will bring the beauty of the outdoors into the studio and will paint a few seasonally inspired pieces. This is a great way to practice your “en plein air” skills before taking your paints outdoors or learn some new watercolor techniques. References will be provided and students will follow the instructor’s demos.
We will break for lunch (one hour). Please bring your own lunch.

Artful Afternoon
Spend Friday afternoons creating with Kimball Art Center’s Artful Afternoons. Fridays from 1:00 -3:30 p.m. youth, ages 6-12, participate in an art lesson connecting the elements and principles of art. Students will experience a variety of art mediums and themes, learn technical skills and explore creative ideas together. Artful Afternoons offers students a collaborative art experience. Drop-in classes at Kimball Art Center are offered weekly. Students are invited to join each week or on occasion. The class curriculum presented is new each week and does not follow a weekly progression plan.
