Have fun with Cameron in making the mug of your dreams! Kids and adults have fun together handbuilding with clay slabs to make the base and walls of their monster mug. Cameron will teach the students how to adhere a handle to the mug with slip, scoring, and coil techniques. Once the basics are built, it’s time to get creative! Add wonky eyes, crazy spikes, weird ears – whatever monster features you have in mind! Paint the mug with colorful glazes, and voila! It’s a monster mug masterpiece! Each student (both child and adult) will make a mug. Due to firing and drying times, pieces will be ready for pick up 10-12 days after the class session is completed.

Making Pottery Together: Wheel Throwing II
Learn the basics of wheel throwing! Students will learn how to throw on the wheel and will decorate and add glazes to finish their pieces. A wheel throwing demo will be given and then students will work beside their family member to each create one wheel thrown piece. Students will add hand built embellishments and paint so that their piece is ready to fire in the kilns. Due to drying and firing times, pottery will be ready to pick up 10-12 days after the class session is finished. Please note that children under 7 cannot use a wheel independently as they are not strong enough and must share a wheel with an adult!
Glass Mosaic Garden Stakes
Have fun with Stacey and walk out of this mosaic class with a unique art piece. Kids and adults will design and create a garden stake together using abstract compositions and hand cut glass. Artists will sketch, design, glue, grout, and seal their masterpieces! It’s sure to be a fantastic class! Please note that students will be working with glass. Parents must accompany kids in this class. Gloves and protective eyewear is provided, but children under the age of 6 cannot participate. To allow for drying and grouting time, pieces will be ready 1 week after class, and can be picked up at the front desk.
Clay Bird Feeders

A great family activity to kick off summer! Due to drying and firing times, clay wind chimes will be ready 10-12 days after the class session is completed. All ages welcome, parental supervision required.
Dad Mugs
Appreciate Dad in this class! Students will work with Kristen to learn how to build their own mug using wheel throwing techniques, and then paint them with bright glazes. Dad will love these homemade creations! Mugs will be ready 7 days after the class session is finished (just time for Father’s Day)! All ages welcome, parental supervision required.
Painted Pots and Plants
Celebrate the summer season by getting creative and a little muddy! Each student will have the opportunity to paint a 4” terra cotta pot with acrylic paints and paint pens.
